Rossi Courts Meet & Greet with Supervisor Connie Chan (D1)
On Saturday, February 26, District 1 Supervisor Connie Chan came to visit the Rossi Playground Courts and visit with the players at a traditional neighborhood meet & greet. Supervisor Chan is quite interested in senior issues and knows that Pickleball is an excellent recreational option for people of all ages. She is very supportive of increasing the availability of permanent courts in the City and contacted Rec & Park after the meeting to voice her support of our community. Thanks, Supervisor!
Although Supervisors have no authority over City departments like Rec & Park, they do represent the “will of the people” in their local districts and help influence Department objectives, plans and activities.
