New Check-in policy for Court Reservations

Rec & Park has instituted a new CHECK-IN policy for anyone reserving a Tennis or Pickleball court using their Spotery system.  This applies to all courts OTHER than Goldman Tennis Center in Golden Gate Park.  Here is the reservation system list:

To help control “no shows” for the Spotery system’s free court bookings, you will need to click the “CHECK IN” button on your reservation from 15 minutes BEFORE up to 15 minutes AFTER your reserved court window START time.  So when you arrive at the court, from your cellphone, go your booking (you should also have received an email notice confirming your reservation) and press the CHECK IN button.  That’s all.  If you don’t have a cell phone or a signal, well we’re not sure what happens, but definitely plead your case, since Rec & Park will SUSPEND your account from making any more reservations for being a virtual “no-show”.  It’s a good idea, let’s see how it works out.
